Towards a thriving multi-racial democracy: Lessons from a lifetime working in racial equity

In celebration of Black History Month, join us for a conversation with racial justice and equity icon Angela Glover Blackwell. A Civil Rights advocate, attorney and author, Angela Glover Blackwell has spent decades working towards racial and economic equity through policy change. Glover Blackwell will provide insights into what racial justice movements like Black Lives Matter can teach us about the fight for a true multi-racial democracy and why without equity, there can be neither progress nor prosperity. IOP executive director Zeenat Rahman will moderate this discussion.
