Trump's Legal Woes: What's the Skinny From Those In the Know

Former President Donald Trump enters the GOP primary as the clear front-runner, but running in the face of a flood of state and federal indictments. The legal theories underpinning his criminal trials – and incipient efforts to keep him off ballot under a constitutional provision adopted after the Civil War – are largely novel. Featuring former Trump White House attorney Ty Cobb, legal scholar and white collar crime expert Jennifer Taub, and UChicago Law School constitutional law professor William Baude, whose newly published paper suggests Trump is ineligible to be president. Moderated by IOP director Heidi Heitkamp.
