Join the IOP as we welcome Harold Hongju Koh, former Dean of Yale Law School and former Legal Adviser and Assistant Secretary for Human Rights at the U.S. Department of State, for a conversation on his new book, The Trump Administration and International Law. By examining several fields of international law – from immigration to human rights, from climate change to denuclearization – Professor Koh studies the consequences of President Trump’s conflicts with international law and his efforts to withdraw the U.S. from global leadership. Additionally, Professor Koh outlines what opponents of President Trump’s agenda can do to preserve international rule of law. This conversation will be moderated by David A. Strauss, Gerald Ratner Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Faculty Director of the Jenner & Block Supreme Court and Appellate Clinic. Lunch will be provided. Book sales and signing to follow.
